The Houston Texans and USO Houston partner each season in support of our troops and military families.

 

2014 Season

  • Texans All-Community Team (TACT): 20 tickets are donated to USO Houston for troops and their families to each home game this season, courtesy of J.J. Watt. To put your name on the wait list for these tickets, contact us at usohouston@uso.org and provide your name, military unit, rank, cell number, email address and spouse/kids' names (be prepared to present a valid military ID to claim tickets). Attendees are chosen from the wait list by a random selection program and notified a week in advance of the game. Those not selected are automatically reentered into the drawing for subsequent games.     
  • Cheering Children: The Houston Texans Foundation donated unused season holder tickets to USO Houston for troops and their families. To put your name on the wait list for these tickets, contact us at usohouston@uso.org and provide your name, military unit, rank, cell number, email address and spouse/kids' names (be prepared to present a valid military ID to claim tickets). Please note: if we get these tickets, we get them late in the day on the Friday prior to the game. 
  • Stars & Strikes Bowling Party, November 17th. Invitation-only event. To compete for a spot on the USO bowling team, check out our Facebook page and submit your contest entry no later than Tuesday, November 11th.  
  • Salute to Service BBQ, November 20th. Invitation-only event; this year featuring local recruiting commands. 
  • Salute to Service Game, November 23rd. Contact you unit's morale or family readiness officer for details on how to participate.  
  • FMC Techonologies' Salute to American Heroes Program, throughout season, honoring a service member during each game. To nominate a deserving service member, contact us at usohouston@uso.org with name, phone #, email address, blurb about service member's background and awards, and several pictures of the nominee.

 

2013 Season

The Houston Texans, J.J. Watt, and Lone Star Sports & Entertainment donated over $55,000-worth of tickets to USO Houston for local troops and their families during the 2013 season.
